  • Before we meet, you’ll designate a Creativity Notebook for all of your Third Layer exercises. Depending on your available time, you’ll get 2-4 completely personalized exercises within 48 hours of each appt.

  • We can meet in person, over the phone, or online. Appts are 50 minutes and we will jump right in. The appointments are great, but the deeper work happens from these 2-4 personalized exercises you’ll get after each one. We have over 90+ exercises we use, but we very often design new ones, depending on exactly what you need.

  • Individuals: Businesspeople. Scientists. Product managers. Writers. CEOs. Office workers with an artistic side they want to develop. Artists who’ve lost their spark. Anyone who wants access to at least 3.3% more of their creativity.

    Organizations: Companies. Non-profits. Start-ups. Teams who feel stuck. Teams who ‘nope’ each other’s creativity. Anyone who thinks they might be helped by more playfulness in their work, more feelings of flow and enjoyment, or more of those elusive Eureka! or Aha! breakthrough moments.

  • We are often booked a month in advance. But you can get on the waiting list. In the meantime, we suggest signing up for a ‘Discovery’ session, as we’ll give you at least one exercise to work on. Once you sign up and pay for coaching, you’ll receive another three preparatory exercises.

  • TLC = Third Layer Creativity (the ‘C’ is silent). Let’s talk! Sign up for a ‘Discovery Session’ on the Schedule page. In 15-20 minutes, give me an idea of your barriers and obstacles, or where you’re stuck. I’ll give you a sample exercise, and from that, you’ll know immediately if it’s the right fit.

  • The Third Layer is a bit like Marie Kondo’s Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, but for the creative part of your brain instead of your t-shirt drawer. So much good stuff lives there — creativity, playfulness, silliness, joy, inventiveness, acceptance, openness, that Nine Inch Nails concert t-shirt from ‘96. Sometimes you just need a prompt or exercise to learn how to organize everything so you can access or remember to do the creativity that brings you joy a little easier.

  • Sessions are 50 minutes to one hour. I suggest an absolute minimum of three appointments (it’s not called ‘the third layer’ for nothing). I give about 30 minutes to an hour of exercises in between appointments, but you’re welcome to ask for less. Many clients ask for more!

  • 1-1 Coaching- In person or virtual (Zoom, Skype, or phone) I just ask that you put aside everything else and totally focus on each call if we’re off camera.

  • Because the work we will do is so personalized and focused on specific needs, I first want to make sure we’re the right fit. I am also a working author and writer, so I only work with a maximum of four clients at a time. If I am filled, you are welcome to get on my waiting list.
