FAQs
“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.” - Albert Einstein
Who do you work with?
I work with ‘S[H]TEMP’ organizations: Science/Health, Technology, Education, Media, Policy. But I’ve consulted for everyone from community health nonprofits to perfumers.
What’s your success rate?
To date, I have an actual, bona fide 100% success rate on the survey question: ‘Did you get at least one insight into how your unique creativity operates?’
What does a workshop look like?
I’ve worked with organizations for one hour, three hours, and up to six weeks and beyond. We’ll talk out the parameters of what your organization needs to thrive, and how much you’re able to commit, and come up with a schedule that works for both of us.
I’m thinking about signing up; what are the steps?
Send me a request or set up a time to chat.
Fill out a Needs Assessment doc with your organization’s challenges and blockers, what you hope to accomplish, and the logistical parameters (potential dates, budget, time allotted, etc).
We’ll come up with what works for both of us.
I’ll send you my contract (or you can send me your contract).
We’ll set up the time. I require a non-refundable 50% deposit 7 days before any event. If either party needs to change the event for any reasonable reason, we can do so with a 10% additional fee.
Can we come to you?
If your team or organization would like to do a ‘creativity retreat’ on beautiful Bainbridge Island, Washington (just a 35-minute ferry from downtown Seattle), contact me!
The fine print:
Minimum charge to do an in-person event (I will do shorter events, but I bill minimum amounts), plus travel: Seattle area $1000, West Coast $2000, rest of North America $2500, international $5000.
I require a 30-day lead time for online or North American-based events and a 60-day advance notice for international events.
