Creativity and Creative Thinking
Single-layer thinking is done. Kaput. Over.
Machines and AI are already performing better on single-layer tasks like reading medical test results, writing clichéd content, or even brainstorming.
But! Humans have this amazing superpower. We can think on multiple layers. In fact, we are dot-connecting, complex problem-solving, insight-building creative geniuses.
But throughout adulthood, we lose some of that magic. The Third Layer works with you and your brain. You will write your own guidebook to your creative process. Or, find it again (you’ll find out it never truly left).

Every client is unique. Tell me your challenges and, as we say in journalism, Show, don’t tell. I’ll coach you in the same method I’ll use in a workshop or keynote, and we’ll work on how to tailor it from there.

Email me with some info: How is your organization’s creativity stuck? What’s going perfectly? What can be improved?
We’ll chat. You’ll give me parameters: 4 to 200 people, 1 hour to 1 year, group workshop to individual creative leadership coaching.
From our talk, I’ll design a customized workshop, class or talk just for your organization.
Workshop topics include
What does it look like?
Here are a few examples of work I’ve done in the past:
Hosted ongoing classes for 4-16 participants on building creativity muscles and confidence (for three or four months at a time)
Coached scientists (individually and in groups) to express themselves in a more clear, confident and empathetic manner that allowed them to share important information
Consulted ongoing for months or even up to three years at a time on the executive creative or editorial strategy level, at startups and media organizations
Led a keynote on creative flourishing to 70 participants (including disco-dancing to find a conversation partner)
Consulted on a project that needed creative thinking and collaboration to name and brand a global medical issue
Spoke to a group of a dozen CEOs over a two-year period (online, and then once in person) on blending critical and creative thinking skills
Spoke to 500 people on the creative shift in travel and how it might look in the future
